The Investigations Outcome Notification System (IONS) screening requests are governed by O.C.G.A Section 49-5-41. Only requests made in accordance with the law should be submitted. Providing false and misleading information may subject you to criminal penalty under Georgia law.

  A child abuse investigator for the purpose of completing a child abuse/neglect investigation.

  Licensed entities in Georgia, which interact with children or are responsible for providing care for children, which shall only be provided information for purposes of employment of a specific individual. (This includes child placing agencies and child care institutions)
